Cure Cavities at Home
August 30, 2012 Tooth Decay
If you learn how to cure cavities at home, you can save yourself not only a lot of money, but you can also save your teeth. If you can catch your cavities early enough, you can cure them naturally. There is no need to spend $150-$250 on dental fees for each cavity. Small cavities can be cured in just a few weeks.
The best way to cure a cavity is to start by killing the infection. You can use anything from clove oil, to colloidal silver, to help kill the infection. I have found that what works best for me, is using a Miswak stick. This chewing stick contains antibacterial properties that help to get rid of tooth infections. By chewing on a stick, you can get rid of cavities in just a few days.
If you have a lot of pain and you just want to get rid of the pain, try using a little bit of clove oil or chewing on some fresh oregano. Both oregano and garlic cloves contain strong antibiotics that will kill the bacteria. Once bacteria is gone, the pain will be gone too. The only drawback to using these two methods is that it only provides temporary relief.
If you are suffering from a large cavity and infection, or you have extreme pain, it might be the best idea to go to a dentist.
What Causes Cavities to Grow?
An important part of being able to cure cavities at home is understanding what causes them to grow. In order for cavities to develop, you have to have an acidic mouth which demineralizes your teeth. Once your teeth are demineralized, they become weak, and cavities can form very quickly.
Every time you eat sugar, it is converted into an acid in your mouth and causes your teeth to demineralize. If you want to prevent cavities and help them heal, you need to focus on making your mouth less acidic. Cutting back on sugars is a great way to start. If you eat dessert after dinner, make sure to drink milk or something that will help to restore your mouth to a neutral pH.
It is also good idea to remineralize your teeth. Remineralizing your teeth will make them stronger and more resistant to cavities. Also, mineralizing your teeth will give them the nutrients they need to heal on their own.
The structure of your tooth enamel is a hard latticework containing calcium and phosphate ions. By consuming milk and vegetables that contain calcium and phosphate on a regular basis, you can remineralize your teeth.
Nutrition Helps to Repair Cavities
Nutrition is extremely important for your body to function properly. Nutrition is also very important for strong and healthy teeth. A lot of people undervalue nutrition. They think that if they are getting plenty of calories, they are getting all of the nutrition that their body needs. In reality, people can be overweight and malnourished. People who do not get enough healthy foods, often have an imbalance of phosphate and calcium in their blood. To compensate for this, the blood draws calcium and phosphate out of your teeth. Usually people who do not get enough nutritious food, end up suffering from cavities and tooth decay more often.
If you want to be able to heal your cavities, make sure you get an adequate supply of raw milk, raw butter, farm fresh eggs, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Try to avoid processed foods, at least for the bulk of your nutrition.
